We are happy to announce our biggest major release of SOLO since we implemented Skin 2.0 in 2009. 

Version 0.8.7.6 is the first production release since 0.8.6.5 and contains the largest improvement in peering and overall performance that the product has seen since it's introduction in 2006.

FreeION Skin Changes

• Modified skin so tab button text is not embedded in the image
• Modified about edit text so it is smaller
• Modified details button so it is a plus symbol in lower right corner of dialog with text
• Renamed the Mode skin setting to DisplayMode. Valid values are HTTP, P2P, HTTP+P2P, HTTP+SEED.
• many of the controls are now updated by calls in the skin itself.
• Changed display metrics from kB/s to KB/s.
